Hi! I'm Jordan, I'm 26 and from the UK. I currently work on migration, after completing a Masters degree in human rights a few years ago: half in Venice, Italy and half in Helsinki, Finland. I lived abroad for the first time in 2019, also in Italy, and have been looking for chances to experience other cultures ever since! I love volunteering and have done a couple of Workaways so far, as well as volunteering with asylum seekers both at home and abroad.
I returned from working in China last summer, and since then I have embarked on my newest adventure - buying a house to renovate in Piemonte, Italy with one of my best friends. I'm looking forward to the challenge, and would love to learn from others who have done something similar and help out with projects around the area.
As well as the serious topic of human rights, I also love music, arts, reading, cooking, anything outdoors, and animals too :) I have always had pet dogs and have been horse riding since I was young. Mostly I love to connect with people, to try new things, and share experiences! I particularly enjoy sharing a cup of tea or glass of wine somewhere with a nice view.
I also have a love for languages! Right now I only speak English and Italian but I would love to learn more - currently studying Dutch and Spanish :)
