Description
Hi, my name is Jessica and my twin sister is Jasmine. We are 18 (almost 19) and live on a farm in the foothills of the Appalachia mountains of North Carolina. This spring we graduated high school and now we're taking a gap year and plan on going to college next fall.
We both enjoy spending a lot of time outside, whether that is hiking, playing soccer, gardening, doing construction projects, swimming, or just enjoying nature. We are vegan with the exception of eggs and honey from well cared for chickens and bees. We have both gotten pretty good at making vegan food and desserts! My specialties include cobblers and different kinds of pies. Jasmine is especially good at making fudge and many types of cookies!
We are very competent, quick learners, and good at following directions. We are looking to learn as much as we can while helping people out. Kindness, compassion, and respect are our biggest values, and we always try to uphold them.

We have both been caretakers for over 40 animals (chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, cats, and dogs) for the last several years. We have a good amount of knowledge and experience in carpentry, gardening, childcare, cleaning, sewing, cooking, and baking. I know how to weld stick and MIG and cut with an oxyacetylene torch and plasma cutter. I also have some experience training dogs. Jasmine can help fix medical issues with chickens. She is also CPR certified. We are up for helping with just about anything!
