Hello! I am originally from Portland, Oregon in the United States, but I've lived in London for the past two years to complete my master's degree in teaching English as a foreign language. I'm moving to Ireland in January and looking to travel around Europe this autumn before I move.

I've taught English to adults from all over the world and would love to help you with English if that is something you're interested in! I only know some Spanish, but languages fascinate me, and I would love to learn a bit of your language as well.

I also freelance edit for academic publications and may have work projects I'll need to do while I travel.

I love traveling and experiencing new cultures (as I'm sure everyone on Workaway does!). I've been to most countries in Western Europe and a few in the Middle East. Teaching English to students from 25+ countries has made me even more interested in seeing the world. I have become more open-minded and empathetic through traveling, and I want to continue that self-growth.

I care deeply about the environment and women's health. I love reading, ballet, and playing the piano. I'm very interested in sociology, philosophy, and religion, and I enjoy going to different religious services. I'm also vegan and would love to cook for you!

I'm happy to help in any way I can—whether that's gardening, animal care, housekeeping, or anything else. I worked on a vegetable farm this past summer and would love to continue farming as well!

Teaching—I have a master's degree in teaching English as a foreign language, and I've taught adults English for about two years. I also have experience with tutoring teenagers in English, beginner Spanish, and math.

Farming/Gardening—I worked on a vegetable farm this past summer and really enjoyed it. I did all sorts of tasks, including seeding, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, trellising plants, and moving irrigation pipes. I love learning about sustainable farming practices.

Childcare—I have had several nannying and babysitting jobs throughout my life for children of all ages.

Animal care—I have experience pet-sitting dogs and cats, and I love all animals.

Cooking and housekeeping—I enjoy vegan cooking and baking as well as doing household chores to help everyone feel comfortable and welcome.
