Hello! My name is Jasper and I’m a videographer and film editor from Amsterdam. After several years of working in the creative industry, I decided it was time for a new adventure, so I left my job to travel solo through New Zealand for six months. I’ll be arriving in Auckland in January and plan to explore the country at a relaxed pace, discovering new places and connecting with people along the way.

I’m passionate about film, art, books, hiking, running, and nature. I’m an open-minded and adaptable person who enjoys meaningful conversations and learning from others.

Ever since I first watched The Lord of the Rings trilogy as a kid, I’ve dreamed of visiting New Zealand’s stunning landscapes and now that dream is becoming reality. I’m looking forward to contributing, learning new skills, and sharing experiences with locals and fellow travellers!

I’ve been working as a videographer and film editor for several years, so I’m comfortable with cameras, storytelling, and anything creative or visual. I love capturing moments and can help with filming, editing, or creating social media content if that’s something you need.

Besides that, I enjoy hands-on work — I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty. I’ve helped friends and family with basic gardening, DIY projects and I’m quick to learn new things.

I’m also happy to help with cooking, cleaning, or general maintenance around the house or hostel. I’m reliable, easygoing, and try to bring a positive attitude to any task.
