Hi, we’re Jamie and Kai
We’ve just graduated from university and are set to travel through South America. We’re really looking forward to experiencing new cultures, meeting people, and enjoying everything along the way
Jamie
I’m into sports, especially cycling, but I enjoy lots of outdoor activities like water sports and hill walking. I also like design, making things, and cooking. I try to be environmentally conscious, and I’m friendly, reliable, and always happy to help where I can.
Kai
I enjoy adventure, whether it’s nearby or in a new country. I love meeting people, spending time in nature, and being in the water. I also like playing sports and have a big interest in cars and engines.

We’re taking this trip to have a break from routine, explore new places, try different food, and learn about other ways of life. We’d love the chance to help you out while we’re travelling.

Kai – I’m practical, hard-working, and easy to get along with. I’ve worked at a summer camp in Canada, leading canoe trips for kids aged 7–15 and cooking meals over an open fire. I’ve also worked as a greenkeeper on a golf course, so I’m used to gardening, landscaping, and outdoor work. I also have 5 years of experience in hospitality, so I’m comfortable in busy environments and know how to deliver excellent service. I’m happy around children, not afraid of physical tasks, and always ready to help where needed.

Jamie - I have a lot of experience in DIY and woodwork skills, having worked in a furniture workshop for 18 months. Also, being interested in design, I have general knowledge of materials and building techniques. I am a keen cook - I enjoy cooking food from around the world, and have catered (by myself) multiple times for 15+ people. My first language is English, and I speak (very) basic French and Spanish.

Overall, we’re a hard-working pair who are always ready to get stuck into any task, learn new skills, and help out wherever we’re needed. We both have experience caring for our own dogs and cats, and we’re passionate about animals and wildlife. We're also excited to embrace local culture, connect with new people, and make the most of every experience along the way.

We’re a hard-working and adaptable pair with a wide range of skills and experiences. We are both keen sportspeople and have played Ultimate Frisbee for the past three years. We’ve both graduated in Product Design Engineering, so we’re familiar with creative disciplines, problem-solving, and using graphic software.
We also have solid hospitality experience. Jamie has worked full time as a barista, while Kai has worked in several breweries, has a good knowledge of beer and the brewing process, and is also cocktail trained. We just love food!
