Description
Hey there :)
My name is James, and I'm about to finish my master's in Neuroscience here in Tokyo. I have a flight back to Amsterdam just before Christmas, but no plans before that.
I got a tent here, and I'll most likely be hiking across Japan for at least August. Would be wonderful if anyone's interested in joining me!
Between August and December I'm completely free. I am thinking of just hopping around East Asia. Would love to find someone who's willing to go on an adventure or two!
I'm also really into photography.
My instagram is @jameshilber
Thanks so much! -

More details about your skills
I spent three months in England teaching English, organising activities, planning trips and hosting evening events for 14-18 year olds.
I am organised, know how to work alone and in groups and spending so much time around kids I have gotten pretty good with them.
I grew up with three loving girls (1 sister, 2 cousins) and started to babysit my younger cousins when I was around 14 and a few years later started to train my town's u6 football team.
I am also somewhat skilled when it comes to minor tasks involving carpentry. My dad taught me some and I am not very clumsy when it comes to handling things like that.
I grew up in the middle of nowhere in the Italian dolomites. I spent my days outside from 8am until lunch and then again until the sun set. We built treehouses, caught fish and organised bbq's. I daresay I am pretty good outside.
I started giving extra lessons in English in secondary school (I was aorund 16) and taught a bunch of kids from all over the world. I have read a lot of classical literature and philosophy and teaching languages has always been interesting and meaningful to me ! -

What else ...
I do some photography so I would definitively bring my camera to capture my experience :)
I also play the guitar ! Been playing on and off for a few years now. I can play around anything really, mainly use my loop pedal but I won't bring that on my travels. -
