Hello there! Making a difference and life long learning are the foundations to my way of living. After retiring in 2020 from over 30 years in the hotel industry, I embarked on an agricultural quest to repurpose a farm that had been dormant for many years. It has been incredibly enlightening with much work still to be done. ln the winter months l take time to travel for adventure and possibly glean new ideas and practices from my volunteer pursuits. In early 2024, I volunteered as a Woofer on a farm in Turkey and Greece. Absolutely amazing experiences!

Over the years I have acquired many skills- Basic carpentry and electrical, basic plumbing as well as irrigation systems installation and maintenance for the farm. Plus, I have mechanical abilities that enable me to fix and repair bicycles, chainsaws, cars, trucks and tractors. I have roofed, painted and repaired several buildings on the farm. I have clear the land, fenced and planted by hand over 1000 Christmas trees and 170 hazelnut trees. I have gardening skills and lots of rock clearing expertise :) I obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Major in Accounting and a Minor in Anthropology many years ago. I am a retired Chartered Professional Accountant. Having worked in the hotel industry for over 30 years l know what is required to create and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

I enjoy playing all sorts of card games, backgammon, chess and many other board games. Cycling, hiking, swimming and skiing are all activities that I relish.
