Hi!

I've just wrapped up the vintage clothing business I've been running for the last ten years and I'm taking some time out to soak up new experiences and meet new people. I've spent most of the last 12 months volunteering with various charities which has included cooking with asylum seekers, assisting at a food bank and providing a social space for 50+ year olds with drug and alcohol support needs.

I grew up on a 45-acre farming commune with 50 other people in Herefordshire and now live in Bristol, UK. I'm interested in all the different ways we use the word community, big and small. I'm a very active person with too many hobbies and not enough time. I love running, climbing, fashion, cooking, crochet, reading and writing, following current affairs, racket sports and much besides.

I'm very easy to get along with and offer a calm head, hard work and total reliability. I'm really keen to develop practical skills and learn about growing amongst other things. I can teach crochet, juggling and maybe some other useless things too.

Cooking - I work in a team preparing food for 100+ asylum seekers every Monday. I have also done some event catering at weddings and festivals. I have a qualification in food safety and hygiene.

Childcare - I've got a two year old niece who I regularly babysit. I'm comfortable entertaining kids of all ages.

Gardening - I've got limited experience but I know the basics. I'm fit and up to any physical tasks. I am an expert at keeping houseplants alive and healthy!

Pet Care - I had a dog for many years and grew up with cats.
