I am motivated and inspired by the many different and unique ways people all over the world find and create community. I am incredibly inspired and interested in alternative and collaborative ways of living and am keen to learn and experience first hand the ways different communities work all over the globe. I am happiest when sharing food and experiences with new people, learning from others and sharing whatever skills I have to help others. I love the sea, swimming, cooking vegetarian foods and reading thought provoking literature!

I am a keen cook - although it is always vegetarian! I have basic DIY and gardening skills and would be keen to help out around the house in whatever ways might be needed. I am a first language English speaker so would be happy and very willing to help anyone who wants to brush up their English, unfortunately I do not speak any other languages - but would be keen to learn! For my job I mainly work with young people so I am fully DBS checked and very comfortable working with adults and children. I also work in social enterprise, where I help people start businesses that do good in their communities - so if anyone needs advice around this I would be more than happy to help! I am definitely a people person, I love collaborative working on projects and am happy to pitch in to whatever might need doing.

What else ...
My previous experiences of living and working in different communities involved spending three months living with a family in a remote village in Zambia where I delivered workshops in the local school and community around health and wellbeing. I have also spent two months living and working in Lapland over the Christmas period guiding tours through an immersive winter experience!
Personally I love music and am an amateur photographer and love a good cup of coffee in the morning!
