Hi, I'm Isaac! I'm originally from rural Devon in SW England but I've been living in Bristol for the past 6 years.
Since I graduated I've been working in schools as a maths and science tutor and teaching assistant. I enjoy working with young people of all ages and abilities and spreading the science love!
Outside of education I like to write - I'm currently trying to get some short stories finished! I also love music, especially folk and country. I play the bass with my pals and go to plenty of gigs and festivals.
I've taken a year out to give myself a break and to explore new parts of the world. I have a health condition which means I can get burned out quite easily, although I love keeping busy and I'm hoping a working holiday is exactly what I need! I grew up in the countryside and would love some space and time to think, reflect and explore new ideas away from the bustle of the big cities.

I studied maths and physics at university. I'm particularly interested in quantum physics, especially quantum entanglement!
I've worked in education tutoring and teaching maths and science, all ages though mostly high school (11-18). As a student I volunteered tutoring at local schools. I'm also a qualified TEFL teacher.
I also have experience working as a waiter and KP in restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. I have good people skills and I'm not afraid to get stuck in!
As a teenager I worked on local farms doing a variety of jobs like egg collecting, picking fruit and veg, and bailing hay.
I grew up in the countryside with lots of different animals like chickens, donkeys, sheep, dogs and cats!
