I am a passionate mind in the field of biotechnology but time to time I feel that I lack of direct helping. In my career until now I have focused on helping humans in gene therapy or malaria, which is all rewarding work. But recently I asked myself a question whether I want to help humanity in such an undirect way? The answer is unclear but what I do know is that I want to contribute on helping animals as they don´t have the same rights or possibilities as us.

I am a cat lover since I was a child but my empathy and care reaches to other animals, like dogs, as well. I am a positive, driven and interested in self-growth by diverse experiences.
At the moment I´m looking for a voluntary work opportunity in an animal shelter from end of October onwards that would last from 2 weeks to a month.

I don´t have experience in taking care of bigger farm animals or repairing shelters or similar but I am sure I would be willing to learn all about it. In general, I am a fast learner, respectful of rules and I can handle stressful situations very well.

I love hiking and activities in general, exploring new places, learn about cultures, exchange stories, philosophical talks. White wine is my friend and bier usually my enemy.
