Hi!

My name is Immy and I speak Italian, English fluently. I've got dual-nationality (Italian and British). I'm 21. I am currently in my second year of a Psychology bachelor and am doing an exchange year in Australia. At college I studied Spanish, English Literature and Environmental Science. For 2 years I worked at an open air theatre as front of house/barista. I finished an internship of 2 months as a receptionist at Hotel Monboso (a 4 star hotel in Valle d'Aosta). I also worked in Switzerland over the summer of 2023 in a refuge and had an amazing time. My most recent job was as a barista at a beach cafe in Cornwall, UK.

I am an open and a chipper gal. I'm a vegan, passionate about the environment and wellbeing. I'm a very caring person and I'd love to explore lots of new places and learn different beliefs and ways of life.

I'm a spiritual person and this year especially I have discovered the magic of human connection and how beautiful and liberating it can be.

I'd like to practice my Spanish and refine my Italian, I'm happy to teach others English but I have no experience of teaching it so I am not a great teacher. I'd be curious to learn different languages such as German and Portuguese, but any language really!

I am patient, friendly, polite, open-minded and curious.

I have Duke of Edinburgh Award Bronze and Silver. I've used Workaway for 2 experiences so far which have been lovely!

What else ...

I like to meditate and am learning about self-love. I'm interested in learning more about breath work and other practices. I enjoy going for runs (not an expert), I like to stretch twice a day as I used to have a back injury (all good now) but it helps me function easily and feel relaxed. I loveee to dance, not an professionally, but another feel good hobby.
