Hi! I'm Ilaria, I'm 29 and I live in Milan, in Northern Italy.
I'm a 2D digital animator working in the animation industry, and I'm also a content creator for a group travel agency.
For the past two years, I’ve also been working as a radio host on two local stations.

I love art in all its forms, and my dream is to create content as an art communicator, focusing on the art I discover while traveling and on local cultures. That’s why I’m passionate about exploring new places, immersing myself in different cultures, and connecting with people from all over the world.

I also love drawing, I usually make quick sketches to capture the places I visit but I enjoy any kind of hands-on art, like sculpture, painting, or pyrography. I’ve always helped my dad with all sorts of “dad chores,” and I’m always ready to learn new skills in any situation.

I’ve studied classical and jazz dance since I was 3 years old, and I’d love to learn different traditional dances around the world because, to me, dance tells a lot about a culture.

I love animals and I care deeply about respecting the environment both when I travel and at home, where I try to reduce my impact by living sustainably, supporting local communities, and repairing things instead of buying new ones.

Like a true Italian, I love cooking, especially for others! Dinner is my favorite moment of the day because I enjoy sitting around the table, listening to everyone’s stories, and chatting for hours. I can cook, but I’d also love to learn dishes from other cuisines and I’ll taste anything! In Italy we say I’m “una buona forchetta”, meaning I really enjoy good food.

This past year, I’ve found myself again through traveling and that’s exactly why I joined this program.
I hope our paths cross somewhere along the way.
