  • Description

I have always had a desire to travel and explore. Excited for any adventure or new chapter in life. Living a healthy sustainable lifestyle is extremely important to me. The dream is to own a small farm and produce all my own needs, as well as the community needs without needing to visit the supermarket too often. But it is about the journey, not the destination right?
Truly seeking to push past conventional ideology and living. To travel by backpack and strengthen the minimalistic lifestyle not only within my self, but for the community around me.This means letting go of materialism, conventionalism and hustle culture. To live like a local no matter where I go.
I adore big adventures and pushing past my limits. I hope to meet new people, see new lands, and try more traditional food to cultures around the world.
I love yoga and am registered with 400 hours to teach. I received my first 200 hour certification when I was 16 years old in Southern Florida and obtained my second 200 hour certificate at the age of 20 in Ubud Bali.
I also love fitness and digital media; this includes work in videography and photography. I actively make small cinematic films from my own personal place of passion

Im an active horse lover. I have been working with horses for the past twelve years. This includes grooming, mucking, riding, feeding and training.

There is so much to learn from each destination! I never return home the same person. One can only grow if they find a way to overcome the initial unknowns.

I do have previous experience in farm work, volunteer work, house work as well as volunteer experience.
When I was younger I volunteered at my local church summer program every summer for five years. During this time we were assigned to be leaders of a group of children. From there it was up to the leaders to personalize their designated children's experience and help them feel cared for. We showed them community and how to work together as a team in-order to benefit the entire crew. Although I am not religious I did have lots of fun working at the church as well as learning how to work with children and better understand them.

Throughout that time I also worked on my uncles farm in Northern Florida. From the ages of eleven to seventeen I traveled to my uncles for extensive periods of time to assist him with land and animal care. He owned animals such as horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. I was responsible for their food in both the morning and evening as well as their hygiene care. I learned a lot about taking care of their needs such as grooming and even emotional care. For example; what signs to look for when they might be unhappy or in discomfort. I was also responsible for house care and land care. This included dishes, sweeping and painting. As well as maintaining a tidy lounge area, trimming the grass, pulling weeds and filling potholes to avoid injury for the horses.

I do have many years of experience as a full-time and part-time Nanny. A sweet family hired me to care for four daughters. Ranging from the ages of 2,4,7, and 10. I was responsible for entertaining, feeding and providing for the girls. The youngest needed assistance with the bathroom as well as eating. I prepared their meals, put them down to sleep and solaced them when they were upset. The girls loved to paint, sing, play pretend, and climb. It was all about being creative and making the most of it. They were a huge impact on my life. I currently still babysit from time to time. As of now I watch over a three year old and a newborn a few days out of the week.

In 2021 I traveled to New Braunfels Texas to work on a farm with the WWOOF exchange program. I tended to the hosts organic farm by weeding, planting and preparing for harvesting. I also cared for her horses and goats. I tended to their hay, manure and made sure they were well groomed.

In October and November 2022 I completed a 200hr yoga teacher training and completed a work exchange at the Sarinbuana Ecolodge. While volunteering I exchanged social media content for accommodation and food. I made life long connections in both of these spaces and felt more inspired than ever to continue working as a volunteer upon heading to my next one.

In December of 2022 I had the pleasure of living for a month on an organic permaculture garden in Tasmania, Australia. I was hosted by a lovely family. I not only got to improve my gardening skills but was also educated on zero waste living, sustainable construction/building, and helping to protect the cats and chickens from local wild life. The other volunteers and I participated in many community events. At these events we came together and weeded, planted, and paved as an act of generosity for the locals and future locals.

I am looking forward to furthering my knowledge and training when it comes to sustainable off grid living.
