My next destination:
Ontario, Canada - from Jan 2025 until May 2025 View allDescription
Hi there! 👋
My name is Grégoire, and I’m a mechanical engineering student from France, currently studying in Montreal. I’m looking for a unique and authentic Canadian experience, far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
As an adventure enthusiast, I thrive on taking on unconventional challenges. Last summer, my father and I cycled across Laos, traveling from north to south. This slow-travel approach gave us the chance to fully immerse ourselves in the culture, share incredible moments with locals, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
My next challenge is a cross-country skiing "race" on Poisson Blanc Lake, where I'll be part of a group of 40 people pulling our gear on sledges. It’s a new twist on backpacking, and I’m beyond excited to take it on!
By joining you, I hope to experience something truly unique and authentic. I’m resourceful, cheerful, and dedicated, so I’m confident I can be a great help with your daily activities, whether it’s around the house, on a project, or even learning something new together.
Let’s create a memorable exchange—I can’t wait to meet you!Interests

Hands-On Skills
I love working with my hands and would be delighted to help you with manual projects. As an engineer, I enjoy solving problems and can assist with designing, planning, and bringing critical thinking to your ideas. I am also skilled in DIY tasks, home improvements, and renovations.
I have hands-on experience working as a bricklayer on a construction site for a month and a half and personally renovated a small apartment. These experiences have given me basic construction knowledge and the ability to handle physically demanding jobs. Whether it’s renovating a room, building a shelter, or assisting with other projects, I’m ready to help.
Entrepreneurship and Business Skills
With an entrepreneurial mindset, I can also support administrative, marketing, and sales tasks. At 16, I co-founded a business renovating vintage bikes. I managed the accounting and marketing side, tracking finances in Excel, creating invoices, and developing a website and Instagram page to promote the business.
I’ve also worked as a top salesman in a women’s clothing store, where I quickly learned the ropes and excelled at customer interactions. Recently, I worked as a waiter in a high-end seafood restaurant in Montreal, where customers appreciated my ease in connecting with them, providing thoughtful suggestions, and delivering honest service.
I can help you modernize your website, improve Google rankings, create engaging storytelling for Instagram, host guests, or assist with selling events.
Soft Skills and Adventures
My love for challenges has shaped my character and taught me valuable lessons. From crossing Laos on a bicycle, hiking the Mont Blanc independently, to running a marathon, I’ve developed essential soft skills such as teamwork, tenacity, open-mindedness, and adaptability. These experiences help me tackle new challenges with enthusiasm and resilience.Age

What else ...
I have my own car in Montreal, which makes me fully autonomous and available to use it for your business needs if required.
In my free time, I enjoy relaxing evenings around the fireplace and playing board games like Risk, Stratego, Monopoly, or Time’s Up.
During the winter semester, I will be attending one class in Montreal on Tuesdays. The rest of the week, I will be fully dedicated to supporting your organization. Some more information
