Hi everyone !

I'm Christophe, a french volunteer very enthusiastic and motivated to work in an ecological environment.

Based in Paris, I have worked for the last years in two farms based in USA and with an NGO, as a photographer, engaged in the preservation and restoration of forests in Madagascar and Indonesia.

Familiar with working on the farm with my four wwoofing experience in Cornwall (England), Algarve (Portugal) and Richmond/Parhump (USA), today I want to continue the adventure and learn more about creation of ecological and self-sufficient living spaces.

During my freetime I like running, hiking, biking, taking pictures, reading, playing theatre, visiting museum and I usually volunteer at an urban farm near my home. I assist with market gardening tasks and help run workshops for children aged 6 to 13.

I've been in USA, Madagascar, Indonesia, Reunion Island, Thailand, Italy, Germany, Martinic, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, England, Marocco and few others countries.

Today, I would like to develop new knowledge around agroecology, self-sufficiency, meet new people, new cultures while respecting my commitment to the environment !

During my last experience at Lombos Garden (Portugal), Richmond and Prahump (USA), I learned a lot on both a practical level (organize sowing, pruning, transplant, compost management and rotation, developing crops in arid conditions, planting trees, using and instal water boxes, creating swales to capture and infiltrate water into the ground, enriching the soil, animals caring, picking eggs, and adapting construction to the living space) and on a personal and spiritual level (meditation, yoga, philosophical and spiritual reading, dancing...).

As a professional photographer, I have always maintained an attraction to everything related to art, cinema, theatre, and music. I also include the pleasure of cooking because I consider it an art in its own right!

Being in good physical shape, I also practice sports quite intensively (yoga, running, gym, surfing, boxing...).
