Hello dear workaway hosts!
I am Franziska, 20 years old and a psychology student living in Germany. After graduating it has always been a big dream of mine to travel the world and get to know new cultures and people. With my current workaways I was able to beginn to fulfill this dream. As an open-minded and warm-hearted person I have made it my goal to get to know as many people, languages and cultures as possible and at the same time I am happy to share my German culture with you! I am very communicative and appreciate open communication. At the same time I have a big heart for animals and nature and would use this love to use that passion towards animals and get envolved here. Especially if I can help others with my work I am a hard working and motivated person for any activity. Be it manual work (I also love crafting in my free time), working with animals, children or sports activities. I try everything and always come with a smile on my face!

I am interested in learning and helping with a wide range of skills.
These can be, for example in dealing with animals, as i have been active in equestrian sports for several years and have always taken care of pets at the same time. I am very passionate about working with animals and put my heart and soul into it.
I also enjoy looking after children and have already volunteered as a helper for homework and learning at my school. I would like to continue working with children in the future and give them something positive to take with them. In my current workaways I got the opportunity to take care of some wonderful children which I really enjoyed.
I also like to do handicrafts (even if time doesn't always allow it) and let off steam creatively here. Lately, I've been making pottery, cards, painting and helping to build enclosures for small animals.
I am also familiar with gardening and with handicrafts I helped my father with at our house.
I also have some experience in traditional olive farming, as I helped one month maintaining and harvesting olive and chestnut groves.
