Hii, my name is Floortje!

I am a very creative person. I have a passion for art (many kinds). I like to draw, paint and I love to experiment with the things I make. As soon as I start something I am in my element. Music is a huge part of my life. I love listening to it as well as making music. I play a little bit of guitar (though I'm not the best) and I love to sing.

I enjoy learning new things. Especially when they spark my curiosity. I care about the environment and try to live consciously. I care deeply about the people around me - I'm a social and happy person and I enjoy spending time with friends and family, but I also love meeting new people.

In my free time I love to surf (though it is quite cold in the Netherlands especially in winter and the waves are not always very nice). I like being spontaneous and doing adventurous things and of course I will not miss out on a good party from time to time;)

More details about my language interests
I love learning new things and I have a good feel for language. I have my Cambridge diploma in English and I have always loved the language. Same for french though I'm not as good at it I do love the language and I've had french lessons for about 7 years in school. I have only had 3 years of german but because I speak dutch it is quite easily understandable. I love making people happy by teaching them new things which also makes me happy and I like teaching people new skills that can be very useful for them, which learning a new language is one of.

I have over seven years of experience teaching gymnastics. I started doing it as a volunteer at the gymnastics club I did gymnastics and now I have started earning a little bit of money with it. I also have experience in hospitality. I've worked at a surf school, a café and a beach bar. This taught me how to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and I've learned to be responsible and keep being friendly (even when it gets chaotic;)).
I'm also a very creative person. I love making art and I'm skilled at drawing and coming up with creative solutions to challenges. I enjoy making music too, though it is just a hobby so I'm not the best. I play a bit of guitar and I like to sing.
I have always loved meeting new people. Ever since I was a little child I loved making friends when I went camping with my family and I have always kept my love for connecting with new people.
I love doing sports, especially surfing and I always try to bring positive energy wherever I go. I love trying new experiences and giving it my best:)

What else ...

Some extra things about me is that I applied for art school next year which will be amazing if I get in. If I do not I would love to do something with geography which is a big interest of mine.
I also forgot to say that I enjoy making clothes or altering certain pieces to give them a new life which is also a way of mine to care for the planet. I also enjoy dancing very much and I've been following hiphop lessons for the past year.
I graduated school this year and I am now in my gap year which I want to make the most memorable experience!
