Hi! We are Nic and Flavia. We are an italian couple of 36 and 32 years old. We are travelling as backpackers, exploring other cultures :)
Description
Hi! We are Nic and Flavia. We are an italian couple of 36 and 33 years old. We travelled as backpackers from June 2024. We started with Camino de Santiago and then we decided to continue with Camino Portuguese (on the opposite side to Fatima). We walked for 1500 Kilometers. We worked in a workaway host in Portugal in a yoga retreat center, as cooking, cleaning, general maintenance. Then we took a van and we crossed France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Dolomites. We spent 4 months in Summer 2025 working in a lodge in Italian Alps at 2000 meters (cooking, housekeeping, customer care, socialmedia, cutting wood, general maintenance).
In October 2025 we attended a 10-day Vipassana meditation retreat in Italy, in the Goenka tradition. From November 2025 we are backpacking in Asia.
We are indipentent and honest persons. We take seriously the tasks. We like to do new experiences, meet people from other cultures. We love nature, hiking, outdoor sports, meditation, do photos and videos, animals, cooking. No smokers. International driving licence.

What else ...
We can teach you Italian language.
We can cook traditional Italian food. Nic worked as a plumber for 15 years so he can give you some tips or help about that, and he does a very good pizza. Flavia is a multitasking girl, she has great problem solving and skills as social media manager. We both have experience in kitchen restaurants and coffee/cocktail bars.
We would improve English.
We would like to learn the habits and customs of the local people.
