Description
We are motivated to see the world and get some real world experience by working and traveling through Ireland and Australia for the upcoming year. Finn grew up in Ireland and moved to Belgium where he entered a construction school for high school. There he learned how to build (with a focus on wood), he made a Yurt by himself, a foodtruck with his class and so much more. For an internship of two weeks each year there was one in Lithuanian, on a steinerschool and one on a house of a teacher. Maja has been working in a restaurant and has done a lot of babysitting to prepare for this trip, but has done an internship on a farm in Wales and in a factory in Belgium. Together we have worked in some airbnbs, one in Ireland, two in Australia (so far) and we have some expierence of working in the garden, but we would love to broaden our basic knowledge about it.

Hi,
I’m Finn McGealy, born in Ireland. I lived here until I was 7/8 years old and then moved to Belgium. Now I am fluent in both Dutch and English. I graduated from the Steiner high school and am looking for something to do in my gap year. I studied building, wood building to be precise, but I am very handy in a lot of other aspects too. I learned to fix bikes, I play the ukulele, I can cook and do so much more. I enjoy learning new things.
I hope you can lend me (and my girlfriend) a hand with planning our trip.
