Accommodation
I have a beautiful yurt to accommodate you in. It is heated by a wood stove. The space is quiet and dreamy.
There is an outdoor camp kitchen on the yurt deck. You will prepare your own breakfast and lunch and we'll share dinners.
What else ...
There are many beautiful hiking trails and gorgeous beaches just minutes away. A nature lovers paradise!
Salt Spring Island is known for its artists and organic agriculture. Many people visit the island to go on the Salt Spring Studio Tour to meet the artist and experience the creativity.
Staying with Saci was the perfect first time WorkAway experience for me. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed into this little slice of paradise. Her garden is a living sanctuary — it’s clear that Saci pours her heart and soul into this space, and being able to contribute even a little was a gift in itself. And then there’s the ocean —… read more almost right in the backyard! I was lucky enough to gather oysters straight from the shore and enjoy them fresh, which felt like something out of a dream.
Saci herself is a truly special person. She radiates warmth, generosity, and strength. Her knowledge of plants and plant-based medicine is incredible. I learned so much just from casual conversations and observing how she interacts with the natural world. She has a deep respect for nature and an intuitive connection to it that’s both inspiring and grounding.
