Description
I love connecting with people and nature! Some of my simple pleasures while traveling include eating fresh fruit, taking pictures of tall trees, and finding little treasures. In 2019 I lived abroad in South Africa, studying sustainability and entrepreneurship. I met so many wonderful people from all over the world, and I am so excited to start traveling again after completing my studies in psychology in the United States. I plan to attend graduate school in September. While I want to travel all over, going to South America has been a goal of mine for the last several years. I hope to learn new ways of existing with people and the planet!
Some of things I would love to learn more about: construction, permaculture, gardening, and working with farm animals.

More details about your skills
I consider myself an artistic person, as well as a hard worker not shy to manual labor. I worked the last two summers (June-August) as a private landscaper where I designed a path in a heavily wooded area. I also weeded, pruned trees, mowed the lawn and tended to the garden. I currently work with youth in a behavioral health in-patient unit. I have learned so much from the kids, they inspire me to communicate more effectively and with intention.
My education is in sustainability as well as psychology. My goal is to one day provide therapeutic care in natural settings. In my spare time I like to hike, forage for mushrooms, play pickleball and basketball, and crochet hats for my loved ones. I love all animals, and I am especially curious about snakes and frogs. One of my favorite things about traveling besides meeting people and seeing the natural areas is the food! I love learning new ways of cooking and eating.

What else ...
I learned how to play cribbage recently. I would also like to learn chess. At my work we play a lot of card games, I'd be happy to bring some decks of cards along. I also have a small amount of guitar and ukulele skills and would enjoy playing a tune!
