🌱 We’re happiest when we’re working outdoors together.
Gardening is not just our work — it’s genuinely what grounds us, interests us, and gives us a sense of purpose.
We love the rhythm of physical, hands-on tasks and seeing the immediate difference that care, skill, and attention can make in a garden.
We’re motivated by learning and improving as we go, taking on new challenges, and using our combined strengths to restore or transform a space.
We naturally work well as a team: we communicate easily, balance each other’s skills, and genuinely enjoy collaborating side by side. There’s something really fulfilling about contributing to a shared project and seeing steady progress each day.
Happiness for us is simple: being outside in all weathers, doing honest work, and connecting with the people whose spaces we’re helping to look after.
We love the feeling of accomplishment after a good day’s physical work, the calm that comes from being close to nature, and the appreciation that comes from helping someone make their environment a little more beautiful, organised, or thriving.

English – fluent (native) We currently only speak English, but we are very friendly, patient communicators and always happy to learn from others. Italian – absolute beginners We would love to learn a little Italian during our stay — simple everyday words and phrases, very novice level. Who we are
We’re Eloise and Raf — a friendly, hardworking couple from the UK who run our own small gardening and grounds-maintenance business.
We met whilst at horticultural college and both achieved a Level 2 qualification in practical horticulture.
We love the outdoors, practical work, and learning new ways of living. We’re calm, reliable, and easy to get along with, with a genuine appreciation for helping people and taking pride in what we do.
🌿 Gardening & Grounds Maintenance
This is our main area of expertise. We have hands-on experience with:
pruning, shaping and maintaining shrubs, roses & fruit trees, weeding, mulching and border care.
Lawn mowing, strimming and hedge trimming, planting schemes & seasonal garden prep.
Greenhouse care, seed sowing, watering routines, composting, soil improvement & general upkeep.

We adore cats — we have black cats at home and love meeting new furry friends wherever we go. We’re very comfortable caring for pets and giving them plenty of affection.
We love exploring local charity shops, vintage finds and second-hand treasures. It’s one of our favourite ways to get to know an area.
Raf is a big football fan and loves catching matches or chatting about teams, leagues, and all things football.
