We are a couple from the UK embarking on a 6 month journey starting from Ez’s homeland, Turkey, and making our way to Nepal, North-East India, and eventually South-East Asia. Ez is a sculptor who works with steel, wood, animal hides, he is also a tattoo artist, and a facilitator for retreats. Hat is a herbalist, astrologer, a yoga teacher, sound artist and dj. We both share a passion for self-sufficient living in cyclical alignment with nature and have plans to buy our own land in the future. Until that can be a reality for us, we want to gain as much experience learning from people, animals, and the land.

Building skills (welding & metalwork, woodwork, also have worked with concrete, plaster, bronze, etc.)

Crafting skills (ceramics, artisanal crafts, working with goat hides, and drum making)

Farming skills (planting, tending to crops, and caring for animals & livestock, preserving, wild plant identification, foraging etc.)

Hat:

Gardening skills (watering, weeding, pruning, natural pest control, planting, harvesting etc.)

Permaculture skills (making compost teas & natural fertilisers, knowledge of biodynamic farming methods, experience watering large areas with acequia - moorish flood irrigation system)

Animal skills (goat milking, herding, mucking out etc.)

Herbalism skills (good knowledge of traditional western herbalism, basics of medicine making i.e. tinctures, balms, salves, infusions, hydrosols)
