Hello! We are Eva and Louis, a couple of French engineering students, enthusiastic and curious. We are looking for a complete immersion in an English-speaking country to live an enriching human adventure and improve our mastery of the English language.

I am Eva, and I grew up in a small village in the north of France, where I developed a passion for outdoor sports. Louis, on the other hand, comes from Lille, and is a friendly, open and curious person, always ready to discover new things.

This is the first time we are both going away, and we share a passion for road trips and discovering new cultures. This trip is a unique opportunity for us to participate in local projects, create authentic connections with our hosts and improve our English through a complete immersion.

We are available to work for 6 weeks, from the beginning of June to the beginning of August, with a minimum of 20 hours per week each, but we are also willing to work more if necessary to fully commit. We then have 2 weeks to travel around the country, discover its landscapes and culture, and enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Although we are new to Workaway, our personal and volunteer experiences have prepared us to be reliable, respectful and involved volunteers. We look forward to contributing to your projects, sharing enriching moments with you and improving our English through contact with your culture and exchanges!

Our studies at engineering school have allowed us to develop a good ability to solve problems, work as a team and adapt quickly to new situations.

I am a very organized person, able to efficiently manage household tasks and maintain a clean and tidy environment. In particular, I have acquired valuable experience in cleaning by working in campsites and hotels. I also know how to prepare some simple dishes and take good care of children if necessary. In addition, I have a driving license and can take care of travel if necessary.

Louis, for his part, is particularly appreciated by children, who adore him for his patience and his friendly nature. He is comfortable working in a team and is used to managing customer relations thanks to his experience in volunteering. He is also very open to learning new skills and taking on challenges.

Together, we are also able to create content for social networks, whether photos, videos or texts, in order to share and promote projects or experiences. Furthermore, we can offer tutoring, especially in science subjects, thanks to our training and knowledge.

We are motivated to put our skills into practice, while learning and contributing to your projects in a positive way. We are also eager to improve our English and discover your culture while sharing our own experiences.

  We don’t have any specific diets or major restrictions, but Louis is a bit picky about certain foods. That said, he is open to trying new things and exploring local cuisine whenever possible. I am flexible and like to experiment with different types of fo
