Hi I'm Erin!
I’m a warm-hearted and welcoming person with a lot of energy— I love getting out my comfort zone and having experiences I thought I would never expected myself to have. Continually to surprise myself.
I love working within a community connecting with people and learning about others culture especially by going to various community events and festivals.
I love camping and being in nature, observing and listening to the wildlife and trees. Relaxing and being one with nature day or night as it is also excuse to practice my night photography skills. I am also passionate about creative projects, especially those that allow me to make something from scratch. Whether it's sewing, baking, cooking, or cross-stitching, I love diving into hands-on activities and expressing my creativity.

I studied Tourism and Events at university and have worked in tourism consulting for rural towns and at event venues. Working in events, you meet all kinds of people – from little kids excited to see a Disney show, to teenagers and young adults pumped to see their favorite artists, to passionate sports fans.
Every year, I volunteer for community events in my hometown. One of my favorites is a weekend-long family beach festival, where I was named Volunteer of the Day in 2024 for managing a silent disco. I also help out with an annual powder dinghy boat race, assisting competitors on the river.
I also love doing creative stuff like sewing. I’ve made summer dresses, pencil skirts, beach bags, and even some funky pants.
Cooking and baking are big passions of mine too. One of my traditions is a multi-day birthday baking spree. Last year, I made cinnamon rolls from scratch using my own sourdough starter.
I also have house-sitted, anywhere from one day to three months. I’ve looked after cats, frogs, fish, and even crickets. I live by the motto, "Leave the place better than you found it."
