Hi there! My name is Emily and I'm a 28 year old traveling through Turkey, the Balkans, Central Europe, and the UK. What motivates me most in life is connecting to people, animals, nature, and within. I have a deep passion for yoga, meditation, and reiki energy healing, and I love weaving those practices into my everyday life. I recently completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training and am a Level 3 Usui Reiki Master practitioner, so if you'd ever like a class or a session, I'd love to share that with you.

Right now, I'm traveling to step away from the corporate world and let my life breathe a little. I want to appreciate all that life has to offer and remind myself that there is so much goodness out there and real beauty within humanity. That belief is a big part of why I'm doing this.

I care deeply about animals. I've had a dog by my side since the day I was born, and back home I volunteer with an animal rescue as a dog foster. I also help them with adoption placement, social media, photography, branding, and content creation. I've done service volunteer trips to rural parts of the US helping rehabilitate abused and neglected animals, too. Connecting deeply with animals is one of the purest forms of happiness I know. Being near the beach is the other.

I'm great with kids and have a soft spot for childcare, with 15+ years of experience. I love exploring life through their perspective and getting lost in make-believe play. Earlier in life I was a writing tutor, so if you or anyone in your home wants help with English (writing, reading, or conversation), I'd love to help. I took four years of Spanish in school, so I can get by with the basics there too.

My background is in interior design and architecture. I worked in a design collaborative alongside architects, engineers, project managers, and consultants, and I'm skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Canva. If you have any design projects you'd like a hand with, I'd be happy to help. I'm also very organized digitally and physically, so any project that needs a little structure is right up my alley. Beyond that, I'm happy to help with farm work, gardening, painting, or building projects. I have an international license but don't drive manual transmission yet (I'd love to learn!)

I love traveling, dancing, swimming, exploring, and finding little ways to make the spaces I'm in feel more beautiful. I enjoy all kinds of crafts and pick them up quickly. I'm an ok cook and an ok gardener, but genuinely excited to learn more from whoever I'm staying with. And I love a good cup of coffee.

More than anything, I hope to bring some lightness wherever I go. I have a bright personality, a sense of humor, and I deeply care about making the people around me feel seen and a little more joyful. Can't wait to meet you!

Organization & Computer Work: I'm very organized both digitally and physically and comfortable with all kinds of computer work. If there's a project that needs structure, a system that needs setting up, or admin work that's been on your list, I'm your person.

I'm an ok cook and an ok gardener, but I'm genuinely excited to learn more from whoever I'm staying with.
