Hi everyone! My name is EJ, I am from the United States, and I have been traveling for a bit over a year now! I started out backpacking in Europe and eventually got a Working Holiday Visa in Australia and have been here since! I have just applied for my second visa and cannot wait to continue traveling here! As my second visa is processing I will be traveling around Europe and the UK! I am returning to Darwin on October 2nd 2024 and am looking for a host in the area to host me until the 20th of October when I leave for my west coast Broome to Perth trip. I have held two work away positions in the past and had the best experience at both of them! My first work away was as an Aupair in Conil De La Frontera and my second one was as a hostel worker in Gran Canaria. Since moving to Australia I have worked as an Aupair, bartender, deckhand, housekeeper, and am able to help with any task you may throw my way! I also completed my 88 days of “farm work” or “regional work” in the Rum Jungle at Banyan Tree Caravan Park and learned a lot about taking care of animals and agriculture! I can’t wait to chat soon!:)

I have several Spanish courses under my belt but am not too confident with my speaking skills. I can carry slow conversations but would love to gain even more knowledge by practicing speaking with native speakers. Children are a big part of my life, and I would love to share my knowledge on anything ranging from coping with trauma to positive sleep training routines. I am a big advocate for the environment as well and would love to engage in a project that furthers my knowledge even more on positive actions to take. I do not have too much experience gardening but I absolutely love plants, know the basics of composting, repotting, etc, and would love to expand my knowledge!
