Description
Hello! We're Daisy and Amelia. We live in Bristol UK, with our two cats and love to travel slowly.
Daisy -
I'm currently working on an eco-home and am enjoying learning to build. I also teach English and would be happy to share these skills. I practise Iyengar yoga and I've just started going to the gym. I love to cook and grow things however our garden is very small so I only grew tomatoes this year. I am very passionate about mountains and hiking. I have walked in many different parts of the Alps, including: the Dolomites, Triglav National Park, Parc des Ecrin and Vanoise National Park. I have climbed all of the mountains in the Lake District UK. My favourite part about hiking is getting to the top and seeing the view. I'm always excited to hear about other people's mountain adventures and share recommendations.
Amelia -
I'm a doctor and part-time climate justice campaigner from London. I'd love to help with permaculture projects, land restoration and working with animals. Also happy to look after/teach children. Looking for LGBTQ+ friendly workaways where I can help out with whatever projects you're working on and will hopefully make some new friends along the way. My interests include: arts and crafts (ceramics is a current favourite); urban gardening; dreaming of living in an off-grid queer utopia. I'd also like to make more time for yoga, meditation and climbing (I'm a beginner at all three!).
We are travelling to Italy, Greece, Turkey and Albania next year and we're excited to meet new people, learn and share skills and have ew experiences along the way.
