Description
Hello everyone, I'm Brazilian/Italian and I'm 35 years old. I've started my travels 12 years ago, I have been working, travelling, studying and exploring ever since. I have spent the last 5 years in Australia, where I mainly worked in normal construction jobs and now I'm ready to get back on the road and using workaway again to visit and learn about places that interest me.
Apart from the travel experience and learning about different cultures my main goal while using workaway is sharing and learning more about carpentry, bio construction, permaculture, agroforestry, gardening and other sustainable ways of living as I plan on setting up my own self sufficient farm at some point in the near future.
I have built a few wooden geodesic dome structures over the years and I have just started learning about earth building recently and this is also something that I would like to keep on discovering and experimenting with and I would happily share a bit of what I know to those who are interested in these ways of building. I have recently participated in a rammed earth workshop as well as a 2 week pdc (permaculture design course) and 1 week agroforestry course.
I love adventure sports and being in contact with nature, hiking and especially mountain biking. I could spend hours sitting in the middle of a forest just listening to it.
I consider myself an organized, determined and responsible person who doesn't mind taking risks in order to achieve what I dream of. I look forward to helping, learning and making new friends around the world.

I used to work in Brazil as an electrician, I've got 3 years of experience in this field. I'm a very good multitasker and quick learner. During my first trip in New Zealand I worked, studied english and did some voluteering work through another website called helpx.. While volunteering I had several experiences with different kinds of work, such as: gardening, painting, kitchen help/ dishwashing, building, electrical maintenance, housekeeping, farming, etc.. I'm experienced in working with power tools and hand tools. During my volunteer jobs and normal jobs in Europe I have mainly worked with construction and renovation work for longer periods of time. During the last two years I have been learning a lot about carpentry and natural building. Also, if the opportunity arises I will be very happy to use my language skills to work in customer service, translation, teaching, etc.
