Left Amsterdam behind in 2024 to embrace the freedom of Southeast Asia. While I'm currently still slow-traveling, my real mission is to find a piece of land somewhere in the world where I can build a completely self-sustaining, off-grid homestead from the ground up. I want to learn modern sustainable building techniques, particularly tiny homes and geodesic dome construction, alongside sustainable farming practices, all inspired by solarpunk principles of harmonizing technology with nature.

I'm seeking longer-term (4-8 week) placements where I can learn hands-on building skills, livestock management, and integrated farming systems. I understand that not every location will offer all of these elements, but I'm planning to learn different aspects at different places over the coming 2-3 years. Whether it's construction techniques, seasonal planning, or real-world challenges of self-sufficient living, I'm looking for mentors willing to share their specialized knowledge.

At this stage of life, I bring a mature work ethic and genuine commitment to learning. I've mastered the art of simple living across Southeast Asia, basic conditions and cold showers are genuinely preferable to me. Ready to trade dedicated energy and reliability for real-world education that will help me build my future. Very adaptable to different living conditions, happy sleeping in a hammock if needed. I prefer quieter operations with fewer volunteers where meaningful knowledge transfer can occur. At this stage of life, I'm more interested in genuine learning experiences than just budget travel.
