Hello everyone! I'm Candela, I'm 26 years old and a lifelong scout.
I graduated from university with a double degree in Sociology and International Relations two years ago. After that, I spent some time volunteering in Greece and Italy. Now I'm back in Madrid, but I'm looking for a new destination for the summer! If I had to choose three words to define myself, they would be positivity, as I always try to see the good part in every situation; easy-going and kind, because I like to ensure that people feel heard, understood, and welcomed wherever I am.
In addition to this, I love nature (and different activities related to it, such as hiking and climbing). This has been fostered thanks to my family and also thanks to my scout group. I believe that being a scout offers a multitude of benefits that contribute to personal growth and a well-rounded skill set. Some of the key advantages of being a scout that help me in my daily life and that I would like to point out are: the ability to work in diverse teams, community involvement, and the capacity to set goals and find a way to achieve them.

I recently graduated with a double degree in Sociology and International Relations. One of my main interests is migration dynamics.
In addition to this, being a scout leader (or scouters, as we call it in Spain) for the past two years has given me the opportunity to work with kids and teenagers using non-formal education methods.

We he'd so many volunteers, all of them was good in some ways, but Candela was so professional and so good understanding that we are so grateful we have her in the hostel.
She is very well organized, very good in all the tasks and also great with the guest's.
