We love a good project. During covid, and while we were still in college, we built a "skoolie". We were able to do some traveling in it before we realized a school bus is not practical for the traveling we enjoy. A van is in our near future. We purchased our first home a few years ago, a 1930's farmhouse on 2.5 acres. We are constantly tinkering with our old house and the fertile soils around it. We are experienced in using hand tools, as well as larger equipment and smaller engine machines. We remodeled our kitchen by removing an old chimney and retaining wall. We are expanding our garden every year with new beds, trellis, and plants. We harvest and make wine from our 8 persimmon trees. We have planted over 40 trees (privacy, ornamental, and fruit) Our current project is building a new deck with a roof attached to our house.We would like to own farm animals and have a larger garden one day, but right now we are enjoying the freedom to travel.
