Kia Ora,
World O' Workaway.
My name is Drew and I'm an experienced workawayer, having volunteered at 11 different sites and counting. I also hold a degree in conservation.
I come from a ranching background but have spent the last 5 years gaining experience in habitat restoration and animal sanctuaries. I'm on a big journey traveling the world and connecting with the ecosystems inhabiting it, so incredibly keen to join projects doing ecological restoration.
I'm passionate about our planet. Regardless of how hard the work is, I'll do it with a smile if it helps create a better planet.
Currently in New Zealand until July 2026.

I raised show cattle for a decade so I have experience in feeding, grooming, and yes, cleaning stalls of animals with copious amounts of feces.
I like to think I'm good with people. I don't directly have experience with babysitting (I am an only child) but I tend to get along with kids and will do my best!
Cooking skills are at the basics, I can make you some classic American cereal (it's just cinnamon toast crunch, like the box cereal), but again, I'm willing to learn and have enjoyed learning cooking thus far.
I can collect firewood, shovel snow, garden, and some basic building. I also have a class B driver's license
Skills I want to work include: Ecobuilding, Construction, Exotic Animal Care, Metal Works, Wood Works, Pottery, Any crafting in general, and horse back riding. -
