We are a couple in their early fourties, with 2 kids 7&9, spending 3 years in Canada, living in Victoria BC.
I'm (Alexis) a web dev & Michele Carole is a ECEA (Early Childhood Educator Assistant) in a preschool, we both work in Victoria, although I work only remotely.

We have first experienced Workaway like plateform back in 2012 during our 16 months trip in Australia and mostly enjoyed it. We helped a family with gardening for 2 weeks, homestayed a place for few days & have been handy man in a hostel for few weeks.

We are willing to( re-)discover another way of travelling, experiencing new people and places, discovering usefull technics and enjoying simple life during our vacations (which we are fortunate enough to have :-). We love living in a city with a little garden but we are looking for a more quiet/isolated place where we can get closer to nature.

We have been hosting a lot of Couchsurfers lately and we are active HomeExchangers.

Meeting new people brings us joy and we usually think it's reciprocical !
