Hello!

My name is Ken, and I am a 25-year-old from Japan.

After studying architecture at an art university in Japan, I started traveling in May last year while volunteering on farms in various European countries. I am particularly interested in sustainable ways of living, and at the same time, I am expanding my worldview by sharing time with local people and cultures.

This is my first time using Workaway, but I have previous volunteer experience on farms in seven countries, including Finland, Lithuania, Switzerland, and Italy, through a website called WWOOF.

I love mountains and nature, and in Japan, I enjoy hiking and skiing while camping.

I am still learning English and am not fluent yet, but I can understand work instructions and have simple daily conversations.

I am confident in my physical strength and can do basic DIY tasks, take care of livestock, and cook some Japanese dishes.

I earned a bachelor's degree in architecture from a Japanese art university.
Since May of last year, I have stayed at farms across various European countries. I have gained diverse experiences, including harvesting crops, preparing soil, taking care of livestock such as pigs and sheep, designing greenhouses, doing household chores, cooking, and babysitting infants.
I also hold an international driver's license.
