Hello! My name is Ashley, and I am a budding naturalist interested in learning all I can about life outdoors, especially related to permaculture, low-energy living, and traditional crafts. I am from Iowa and have worked in customer service, conservation, and education in Montana, Alaska, Texas, Northern and Southern California, Wyoming, and New Mexico. I have a Math degree and love to teach and tutor, and would be so happy to get to work with kids! I love all things yarn--I crochet, knit, weave, and spin, at various competencies but all with a passion. I enjoy long outdoor workdays and have some niche experience I'm looking to expand upon working with animals, fencing, and gardening. I'm so excited to get out traveling and learning from new people!

I am great with kids of all ages; my most recent job was as an instructor at an outdoor school, and I have tutored, babysat, and nannied, along with spending years just hanging out with my little siblings! I have worked on all stages of gardening, understand customer service, have basic knitting and crocheting abilities, and can cook and do household chores. I am a quick learner and am more than eager to gain new skills, especially related to DIY and construction projects!
