What motivates us and makes us happy is living in connection with nature, helping others, and learning something new every day. We feel most alive when we're outdoors—gardening, working with animals, or simply enjoying a walk in the countryside. We also love meeting people from different cultures, sharing stories, and creating genuine connections.
Volunteering gives us purpose and joy, especially when we see that our help makes a difference. We find happiness in simple things: taking care of animals, building something with our hands, spending time with children, or cooking together. For us, happiness comes from living fully, learning constantly, and giving with an open heart.

We’re both very passionate about languages and communication. One of our main goals during this Workaway experience is to improve our English by speaking with native or fluent speakers in everyday situations. We believe that learning a language is not just about words, but about understanding people and their culture. At the same time, we’d love to share our native language—Italian—with anyone who’s interested! We’re happy to give informal Italian lessons, help with pronunciation, or just have fun conversations to practice. Language exchange is something we really enjoy, and we see it as a beautiful way to connect with others and grow together.

Hello! We are Leonardo and Arianna, a young couple from Italy with a big love for nature, animals, and outdoor life. 🌿🐴
We both spent over 10 years in the Scouts, which shaped our values: teamwork, respect for others, and love for simple living. We enjoy helping others, learning new things, and getting our hands dirty—whether it’s gardening, taking care of animals, or building a shelter in the woods!
We have experience as babysitters and have cared for many animals over the years. At home, we have chickens, ducks, and three dogs. We also have a good level of experience with horses—we don't own any ourselves, but we often go horseback riding with friends who do. Horseback trekking and nature walks are some of our favorite activities.
We are responsible, non-smokers, and don’t drink. We both have a driver’s license and can help with a variety of tasks. Our goal with Workaway is to meet new people, experience a different culture, improve our English, and hopefully teach some Italian in return!
