Hi! We’re Barbara and Antonio – a couple of 29-year-olds from Milan, Italy, excited to start our first Workaway adventure together!
We’re both curious, motivated, and passionate about learning through cultural exchange and new experiences. We see Workaway as a wonderful opportunity to step out of our daily routines, meet inspiring people, and contribute with our skills, energy, and open minds.
We both studied Economics at university, and our professional paths took us in different – but complementary – directions: I (Barbara) work in the cultural field and currently manage European projects for a non-profit organization. Antonio works in marketing and brings a creative and strategic mindset to everything he does.
Volunteering has always been part of our lives, and we love getting involved in meaningful projects. We're not afraid to get our hands dirty – we enjoy practical work, being outdoors, and learning by doing. We both love to travel. I’m especially passionate about art, cultural heritage, architecture, and theatre (I’ve been acting in French for the past two years!), while Antonio brings a love for nature, sports, and history.
We’re organized, reliable, and love connecting with people from different backgrounds. Whether it’s helping out in the garden, supporting a creative project, or sharing a good conversation over dinner, we’re excited to experience and contribute to your world.
