Hello there!
My name is Annie and I'm from the South of England. I have been travelling on and off for the past few years and have had some wonderful experiences, especially through Workaway. I'm easygoing, calm and reliable, and I love to have a good laugh!
I try to fly as little as possible, I love to venture beyond home, but equally am keen to explore more of UK too. Like a lot of people, I'm not sure how I want my life to look (career, where to live, how to live), and travelling invites different perspectives and skills. I've met many wonderful Workaway hosts who have completely inspired me, and shown me that alternative lifestyles are possible. And this is why I think travelling is very important to me right now.
I am happiest on a good outdoorsy adventure, surrounded by beautiful nature and bag full of art supplies - and of course a packed lunch and flask of tea ;) I love simplicity and some of my best travelling experiences have been just camping out under the stars and hitchhiking with locals.

I am an self-taught artist, working mostly with oil paint when I'm in my studio. When I travel I always take some art supplies to create on the go. I tend to paint small canvases, and in sketchbooks but I'd love to create something big, so I'd always be happy to work on a mural or sculpture! Any wisdom in art or theatre would be very welcome :) I'm always keen to learn some skills in restoration, building, carpentry, as well as permaculture, forgaing and preservation techniques.
I have a degree in English Literature, so any help with English, proofreading or editing is also something I can offer. I've also got a certificate in digital marketing, so I'd be happy to help you out with social media/digital marketing.
