By profession I (Ani) am an ESL teacher so I have experience working with children and young adults in the teaching realm. I thrive working within a team -it's beautiful when everyone comes together for the good of a cause. I also practice yoga and meditation on a regular basis.
Jay has over 15 years experience metalworking on classic cars. He is very handy and creative with no job ever too demanding for him. These skills transfer well in to other trades such as building and carpentry work.
Our level of physical fitness is good, so manual labour is no problem.

From our time traveling South America last year, we have gained experience and knowledge in both bio-construction and permaculture farming.

Ani and Jay, two absolutely lovely caracters 💚 1000% recommended!!
Both are super responsible and incredibly friendly, so helpful, clean and very respectful. Ani and Jay always helped with everything, worked independently and completed all daily task perfectly. They are tidy and left every space as kitchen, bathroom always clean. They are… read more independent, act and work conscientiously and living together was super relaxed and always friendly...more than that...as if I had family members at my home!! We shared good food, laughs, stories, we went out dancing, made tasty cakes, we helped each other, we went together into town, played games...
🐶🐾Jay and Ani lovingly cared for the dogs and also for the four puppies we got. The little ones came out of a trash can with their eyes still closed. We had to bottle-feed them every three hours, clean their space and give them plenty of attention. Jay and Ani passionately cared for the four babies; and of course also looked after the other 14 dogs perfectly.
I left Ani and Jay alone with the house and the 18 doggies for more than 2 weeks. During this time they did a awsome job and took care about everything!! They went to the market, cooked for the dogs, gave them their food, their medication; they fixed the water in the Jungle..literally everything... I could take vacations and I am so thankful for that, they made something great possible for me.
Ani is interesting, open-hearted, and it was a lot of fun living with her. Our conversations were very open and her way of thinking is wonderful. She's a great artist and painted me a beautiful sign for the entrance. She gave so much love and I already miss her energy here at home🩷.
Jay is a handyman; he can use any tool and repaired many things. He gets things done and completes any task. Jay built me two platforms and a wall out of wood and branches. This project was his own idea, and I'm grateful, he did a brillinat job. Ani also diligently helped with digging and cutting branches...they continued working even in the rain and mudd.
I couldn't have found better volunteers 🥰!!

I wish you all the best and you are always very welcome here. Hope we will see us again! Enjoy your trip and take care.

Any y Jay estuvieron acá por 20 días y el tiempo pasó volando. Ellos estuvieron siempre predispuestos a ayudar. Ambos forman muy buen equipo y cocinan muy bien. Jay sabe trabajar muy bien con el metal, construyó varias cosas que me hacían falta. Muchas gracias por todo!!!!
