We are Yuan Yang and Joelle, from Singapore. Singapore is a sunny city state in Southeast Asia. Since we have just graduated from university, we are looking to take some time apart from the hustle and bustle of city life and experience new culture using Workaway.
It’s our first time on Workaway! We are young, eager to learn, and open to new experiences.
Joelle loves animals, especially turtles. She has volunteered to take care of some.
Yuan Yang likes nature and fresh air especially hikes in the forest. She also likes culture and going to museums.

We can speak Chinese, would like to share more about the language and also about Singaporean culture!
Joelle can also speak Japanese for anyone who is interested in learning! She has some skills relating to tying knots and camping. Finally, she has also taken care of turtles and tortoises while volunteering at a small zoo.
Yuan Yang was part of volunteering programs, with two conducted in Indonesia and Thailand. She has organised carnival events, done some painting, laid pipes for water basins and taught children English.
