We are two friends who met at a kangaroo rescue in Western Aus, now travelling together looking for our next adventure. We are motivated by meaningful work, genuine human connection, and the feeling of contributing to something bigger than ourselves. We are happiest when learning new skills, helping others, and sharing simple moments—especially when animals are involved. We have a deep passion for animals and find real joy in caring for them, spending time around them, and being part of environments where they’re treated with respect and kindness. We value compassion, curiosity, and showing up with a positive, reliable attitude.

We are reliable, hands-on people who enjoy learning and contributing wherever needed. We both have experience caring for animals and feel very comfortable feeding, cleaning, handling, and spending time with them with patience and respect. I’m attentive to routines and instructions and take pride in making sure animals feel safe and well cared for.

We are also happy to help with a variety of tasks such as general maintenance, cleaning, gardening ( Hanne specialized in horticulture!), and assisting with daily chores. We have both have experience in housekeeping as well. We work well both independently and as part of a team, adapt quickly to new environments, and always bring a positive, hardworking attitude. We’re organised, responsible, and motivated to do our best in every role we take on.

In our free time, we enjoy spending time outdoors, being around animals, and staying active. We appreciate simple pleasures like shared meals, good conversations, and learning from the people around us. We enjoy board and card games (always happy to learn new ones), reading, and creative activities. We’re respectful of shared spaces, easygoing to live with, and value open communication. We’re also happy with both quiet evenings and social time, depending on the household rhythm.
