I’m Ali! I’m 25, born and raised in Watford, England. Last year, I quit my job as a Researcher/Speechwriter for an MP to travel around Central, East and Southeast Asia. I’m now returning back to the UK for a few months to visit family, attend my grandmother’s funeral and help prepare her house to be sold, and to save up some money before heading off travelling again in mid/late August.
I’m outgoing, adaptable, hardworking, and will try pretty much anything once! I love hands-on projects and working practically but am also more than happy to get stuck into some computer or desk-based work depending on your needs.
Beyond my previous role in Parliament, I've had a bunch of other part-time jobs and volunteering experiences including teaching, cleaning, managing a sports centre, working at a pizzeria, helping care for animals, running Covid-19 testing centres, handling calls for a homeless helpline, filming viral YouTube videos, and landscape gardening.
