Hey everyone!
I'm a 31 y.o. (actually medical doctor) from Germany, living in Vienna, who is interested in just about everything the world has to offer and loves to gain new experiences in all different fields (at the moment with special interest in animal husbandry (sheep, goats, horses), farming, self-sufficient living close to nature, sustainability, living off the land, ...) learning new skills, and getting to know different people and new insights from all walks of life. Ever since my work on a cattle farm as a "ringer"/farmhand (mustering on motorbikes/horseback, fencing, work in the yards, vaccinating, random tasks around the station,...) in Australia I really want to go back into this kind of work for a change, I really enjoyed the physical work outdoors with cattle, horses and motorbikes, that gave you that special mix of peace of mind and exhaustion at the end of the day :D Currently I am looking for a similar experience, together with my boyfriend, but with sheep/goats this time, perfect would be mustering on horseback.
I would describe myself and my boyfriend as very reliable, hard-working, not afraid to get our hands dirty kind of people, who are easy-going, willing to have a go, open minded, friendly and cooperative :)

-solid horse riding experience (since childhood with longer breaks in between)
-experience driving all sorts of vehicles (incl. RVs, tractor, truck, quad, van, motorbike,.. - motorbike license)
-very basic MIG welding experience

Currently looking for a workaway to do together with my boyfriend, his skills relevant to farmwork:
- basic riding experience - able to ride all gaits, soft hands (has been taking lessons for about 2 years now and has been on trail rides in different settings (wilderness+dunes in hungary, rocky mountain trails in sicily, riding+swimming w horses in greece)
-very reliable, hard-working, willing to have a go
-friendly, easygoing, open minded, well organized
-work-related experience in project-management, organizational skills ,.. (works as a consultant) -
