Profile information

Description
Helping others and traveling are two of my biggest passions, alongside painting and architecture! I am currently studying architecture at university in hopes to make a difference in how we as humans interact with and shape our surrounding environment (social and physical). I have previous experience volunteering through IVHQ where I did Child Care in Livingstone, Zambia, and Construction and Animal Care in Cusco, Peru. I have also traveled to various places throughout Europe, but these two top all others. Having the means and the opportunity to help where I can, while also learning about new cultures and exploring different parts of the world is something I will forever be grateful for. I hope to continue meeting new people, learning new cultures, and helping where needed!

More details about your skills
I’m studying architecture at the University of Michigan, so I’m pretty creative, good at solving problems, and working hands-on. I like figuring things out as I go and helping wherever I’m useful.
I’ve worked a lot with people through my job as a student ambassador, giving tours and talking with visitors from all kinds of backgrounds, so I’m comfortable communicating, answering questions, and being part of a team. I’m easy to get along with and very adaptable.
I’ve also volunteered abroad, doing construction work in Peru and helping as a teaching assistant for young kids in Zambia. I also just finished a work exchange experience at a hostel for 3 weeks in the Azores. These experiences taught me how to be flexible, patient, and open to learning new things quickly, especially in new environments.
I enjoy DIY projects, arts and crafts, hiking, and helping with everyday tasks like painting, basic repairs, gardening, or general upkeep. I don’t mind physical work and I’m always happy to help out.
I travel because I really value cultural exchange, sustainability, and giving back. I’m curious, open-minded, and excited to learn from the people I stay with while contributing in any way I can.
