Description

Hii, my name is Aaliyah, I'm 19 years old and I want to learn to be myself.

I want to get to know new people, new cultures, new food and learn all about the things you can teach me for life.

My hometown is a little city in southern Germany. Beautiful landscapes and next to the Alps, so of course I like hiking and skiing :)

I am the oldest sibling of my big family. Two younger sisters and a younger brother. My cat's name is Diego and my rabbit is called Hoppel.

My wish is to explore Spain before I go to college in Germany. I went to school for 12 years and did my Abitur, which is the final exam qualifiying for university studies, in mathematics, german, spanish and musics. After that I did a voluntary social year in a school in my hometown. Now I'm working for half a year in a supermarket to save money for my trip to Spain.

How my friends would describe me: I'm a good listener but also a very talkative person. I'm much fun to be around because I laugh a lot and am open to new things. I'm also a cool person to go to parties with and my friends love to go out with me.

My new hobbies are: Icehockey, rollerskating and bouldering.

I used to be very introverted, but during my year of voluntary I learned to be more open. My life is much better now, but there's still room for improvement. That's why I want to embark on this journey, and I hope you can help me grow :)

I could teach you German because it's my mother tongue. Additionally I speak english fluently. Even though I did my final exam in spanish I still think theres space for improvement. I can unterstand a lot more than I can speak. So I am excited to talk to some native speakers and learn the language more fluently :)

Soo I would say that I am an all-rounder. I'm motivated to learn new things and can remember stuff really quickly. Like I said I am the oldest sibling of four so I'm used to look after and care for kids. Also I love mathematics and was a private tutor for a long time. In general I've been working since the age of 16, so I've been making my own money since 3,5 years. In my freetime I like to paint, to read, to go hiking and play icehockey with friends.
