Hello!!! My name is Wouter and i am from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 After i got my bachelor's in tourism management i lived and worked in Berlin for a while to save up for a biketouring trip to Greece and back 🚲🌍 It was an amazing way of travelling that's allowed me to learn so much about the world, humanity and myself

I started my tour from Berlin in the beginning of May, and did a month of workaway in greece. I had an amazing time there helping with outdoor projects and handywork. It was my first time experiencing the beauty of workaway and it will definitely not be the last!

I'm open to learning new things, like farming, manual or social work, taking care of animals.... anything goes! I have a bit of experience as a kitchen hand in restaurants, picking apples/pears in fruit picking season, some basic bike fixing skills, and i generally just enjoy figuring out DIY projects.

The things that bring me happiness are slow traveling, camping by the lake and swimming 🏕️hikes where the scenery makes you silent 🏞️ connecting with people and sharing ideas and stories. Laughter is the best medicine, and seeing the world to discover that people are good!!

My first workaway experience involved a lot of outdoors manual work. Using tools, drills, logical thinking and working together. I'm not super experienced with workaway type tasks but very eager to learn and put my hands to work!

I worked as a kitchen hand in 2 different restaurants when i was a student, and enjoy cooking in my free time. For a couple of summers i helped picking apples and pears at a farm. I have some basic bike fixing skills, and i enjoy DIY projects. I also love animals and always grew up with cats at home

I worked at a tour operator that organises trips around the world in different departments like sales, production & content, and operations. Probably not super relevant for workaway but it was my first "grown ups job" :)
