Kia ora from New Zealand!

My name is Willow, the travelling artist! I’m a 19 year old girl embarking on my first ever solo trip across Europe in 2025. I am wanting to connect with other artists on my travels, as well as teaching English and art to those seeking help :)

I come from a family of artists, being a painter, writer and photographer myself; when I don’t have my nose in a sketchbook you can find me at the beach or going on hikes. Im a lover of psychology, history and cooking - and of course people!

While I am young, I did move out of home at 15 and went to university at 17 - so I can assure you I have lots of life experience.

Im a big social butterfly and love getting to make friends and connections across the globe. I’m excited to learn about your country through your eyes and home, as well as sharing a bit about my culture along the way :)

As I’ve worked as a house cleaner, kitchen hand and advisor to the New Zealand ministry of health - I have an aptitude in people skills and food preparation/handling. I grew up on a farm helping care for animals and picking vegetables, meaning I know how to identify ripe foods, wash them and prepare for food storage.

As I’m recovering from a back injury, I can’t take on heavy lifting jobs but I’m a wonder around the house, in the garden or out picking fruit (Certainly helps being a tall girl!).

I’m also an artist at heart so I have an eye for creative projects, mural making and taking photographs (will put some of my work in the photo section).

I love pets as I’ve grown up around dogs, cats, cows and horses. I’m also great at helping out with kids being the oldest of four myself - whether you need a babysitter or someone to help tutor your child in English, Art and Photography.

I moved out of home by myself at 16 and have taken the last three years of my life to begin study at university, pursue my art practise and save for travel experience; making me a very independent and resourceful young adult.

Due to having a physical disability in my back and hips, I'm unable to do heavy lifting or intensive labour work - but I excel in house cleaning and teaching. I'm happy to communicate with you about what I can or can not do. :))
