Hi there!

We are Anastasia and Will, a couple who is normally based in Berlin. We are currently on our 5-month journey through South and Central America and we are looking for volunteering opportunities 😊 We believe that the best way to experience a new place is by connecting with people so we are looking to share our skills as well as learn more 👩‍🎓

Anastasia:

I love being outdoors, spending time around animals, and meeting people from different backgrounds. Volunteering feels like the perfect way to experience travel in a more meaningful and hands on way learning new skills, helping out, and becoming part of the local rhythm instead of just passing through. I am especially excited about DIY, building, and gardening projects, as I hope to start something similar myself in the future. I have experience in hotel management, teaching languages and working with customers.

Will:

I grew up on a dairy farm in Ireland, so I have lots of experience with animals and practical DIY work. I now work in IT and have strong computer skills, and I’m also experienced in operating heavy machinery such as tractors and excavators 🚜

We’re looking to contribute to interesting projects, learn from the people we meet, and connect with kind, fun, like-minded hosts and volunteers along the way 😊

We are very adaptable and reliable people and we enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. We are used to adjusting to different environments and cultures and can get along well with people from all kinds of backgrounds.

Anastasia has experience working in different hotels, where she learned a lot about hospitality, organisation, and providing a good experience for guests. Through this, she became comfortable with fast paced environments, problem solving, and taking responsibility when needed. She also enjoys creative work as well as all things outdoors 🌳

Will’s strongest skills lie in farming and working with animals as he has done that since a very young age. He is now a software engineer so he can also help with any tech related projects 💻
